Each of our team members is trained to handle our advanced collection of technology.

Dr. Iftikhar Chaudhry

Dr. Iftikhar Chaudhry is a board-certified ophthalmologist specializing in glaucoma, anterior segment, cataracts, and LASIK procedures. His skills, knowledge, and experience in surgery and private practice at IC Laser have made him well-known in his field. He graduated from Jefferson Medical College.

Dr. Chaudhry completed his fellowship training in glaucoma at Massachusetts Eye and Ear Infirmary, which is associated with Harvard University. Dr. Chaudhry is a fellow of the American College of Surgeons, and he is the assistant professor of LASIK and refractive services at Temple Hospital. He has received the honor and privilege to hold a residency program to educate future ophthalmology students in surgery.

Dr. Chaudhry enjoys helping the less fortunate around the world by taking part in free clinics that provide cataract surgery and the treatment of many eye diseases.

Dr. Imtiaz Chaudhry

Board-certified ophthalmologist Dr. Imtiaz Chaudhry is a medical and surgical retina specialist who practices at three locations associated with IC Laser. Located in Bensalem, PA, Philadelphia, PA, and Hamilton, NJ, he provides advanced treatment for patients suffering from a wide range of eye conditions.

Dr. Chaudhry graduated with his medical degree from Jefferson Medical College and went on to complete his ophthalmology residency at Temple University. He is dual-trained in child and adult retina diseases from the Doheny Eye Institute (affiliated with the University of California, Los Angeles) and Children’s Hospital Los Angeles (affiliated with the University of Southern California).

Dr. Chaudhry is currently an adjunct clinical professor at Temple University in Philadelphia, PA. Dedicated to research, he has published numerous articles for leading medical journals throughout his career.

Outside of work, Dr. Chaudhry enjoys spending time with his wife and four children, as well as writing.

Dr. Aaila Chaudhry

Dr. Aaila Chaudhry is a board-certified ophthalmologist with private practice at IC Laser.

She was the first person to complete the pediatric fellowship at A.I. Dupont Nemours Hospital in association with Wills Eye Hospital and Jefferson Medical School. Dr. Chaudhry completed her ophthalmology training at Temple University Department of Ophthalmology.

At IC Laser Eye Care, Dr. Chaudhry treats various ocular conditions, including dry eyes, diabetic eye disease, floaters, glaucoma, headaches, macular degeneration, cataracts, retinal detachment, and much more. She also specializes in pediatric and strabismus and has performed many eyelid surgeries and a variety of other cosmetic procedures.

Outside of the office, Dr. Chaudhry enjoys crocheting and spending her free time with her husband and four young children.

Dr. Layla Kamoun

Dr. Layla Kamoun is a skilled and compassionate ophthalmologist serving patients at IC Laser Eye Care at the practice’s three locations in Bensalem, PA, Philadelphia, PA, and Hamilton, NJ. With over 20 years of experience, Dr. Kamoun is a valuable asset to the team.

As a skilled ophthalmologist, Dr. Kamoun treats various conditions at IC Laser Eye Care, including dry eyes, diabetic eye disease, floaters, glaucoma, macular degeneration, cataracts, retinal detachment, and more.

Dr. Kamoun earned her medical degree from Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania, located in Philadelphia. She then completed an internship in the Albert Einstein Healthcare Network before completing an ophthalmology residency within the University of Pennsylvania Health System, both based in Philadelphia.

Today, Dr. Kamoun is board certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology and is licensed to practice in both Pennsylvania and New Jersey. She is also affiliated with numerous Philadelphia-area hospitals, including Cooper University Health Care-Camden, Virtua Memorial Hospital, and the prestigious Wills Eye Hospital.

Dr. Michele Spooner

Dr. Michele Spooner is an accomplished medical optometrist with 20 years of experience in eye care. She specializes in routine and emergency eye care, anterior segment disease and glaucoma treatment, and cataract, glaucoma, and retina surgery co-management. Dr. Spooner is a graduate of Lafayette College after which she completed her optometric training and Doctor of Optometry degree at the Pennsylvania College of Optometry (Salus University). Born and raised in Suburban Philadelphia, Dr. Spooner is also very active in the community as the head coach of two local swim teams.

Dr. Yelena Fishman

Dr. Yelena Fishman has been practicing full scope eye care in the Philadelphia area since 2007. As a magna cum laude graduate of MCP Hahnemann at Drexel University and the Pennsylvania College of Optometry, as well as a member of the Bucks-Montgomery County Optometric Association, Dr. Fishman is constantly learning new ways to bring personalized, cutting-edge treatments to every patient, in every exam. She specializes in comprehensive vision care, contact lens evaluations, and anterior segment disease, specifically dry eye disease.

Dr. Jenna Quasmieh

Dr. Jenna received her Doctor of Optometry degree from the Pennsylvania College of Optometry – Salus University in 2021. Born and raised in Central Jersey, she loves spending time in nature, exploring small towns and channeling her creativity through cooking and photography. Dr. Le

Dr. Le received her Doctor of Optometry degree from Pennsylvania College of Optometry (Salus University) in 2019. Following her passion for advanced clinical care, she pursued and completed a Primary Care/Ocular Disease residency in 2020.
